Campus overview

Piedmont Point Campus brings Basaltline’s delivery model to the Southeast: 90 acres in Greensboro, North Carolina, planned for 150MW across three phases plus a reserve parcel. Regional utility service delivers some of the most competitive industrial power rates on the East Coast.

The campus sits at the intersection of major long-haul fiber routes between Atlanta, Charlotte, and Northern Virginia, with sub-10ms latency to all three markets — ideal for regional cloud and disaster-recovery deployments.

Competitive power, carrier choice

A new 230kV delivery substation serves the campus with dual feeds from independent transmission loops. Industrial rates and North Carolina data-center incentives cut total cost of occupancy by up to 20% versus Northern Virginia.

Five carriers are on-net at the campus meet-me vault via diverse entrances, with conduit reserved for three more. The reserve parcel is graded for a fourth phase or a dedicated single-tenant build-to-suit.

In the community

Piedmont Point partners with North Carolina A&T on a data-center operations curriculum, sponsors the Greensboro greenway extension past the campus, and commits 25% of permanent roles to local hires.

Availability

Phase one build-to-suit (60MW) leasing now; powered-shell reservations open for phase two.
